Gas-powered buses
At the bequest of the community, around 60 farmers have come together under the company EVAM to found a group agricultural biomethane project. Working with the Banque des Territoires and Engie Bioz, EVAM launched this innovative biomethane plant at the start of 2023. Producing more than 600 Nm³ CH₄/h, it has two large hoppers into which lorries can directly deposit the feedstock. An advanced sorting system filters out any pebbles or metal in the more than 50,000 tonnes of manure processed by the plant.
