Gas-powered buses
This communal project brings together 25 farming businesses and CYCLAD, a waste processing union in the Charente-Maritime department. It processes 34,000 tonnes of effluents, agricultural and agri-food industry co-products each year. The biogas is converted into biomethane then injected every year at a rate of 215 Nm³ CH₄/h. Following liquefaction, the CO₂ produced is also reused and the digestate is spread over 1,600 hectares of farm land.
