A project led by KEON, agricultural business SCAR, farming cooperative UDCA and SEM 24, this biomethane plant was built by NASKEO. It processes 30,000 tonnes of plant matter to generate 24.7 GWh HHV (260 Nm³ CH₄/h) of biomethane that is injected into the GRTgaz network. The plant also produces 25,000 tonnes of digestate a year that is used by farming businesses in the region as a substitute for mineral fertilisers.
