Biogaz du Pays de Nouzilly recycles 12,000 tonnes of agricultural and agro-food industry waste every year. Funded by the INRAE Val de Loire research centre in Nouzilly, this plant converts the biogas produced into electricity and heat using a 250 kW cogenerator. The heat produced meets the needs of the INRAE research centre’s nine buildings.
