In 2021, GAEC Chagneaud built a cogeneration biomethane plant capable of generating 250 kW of electricity.
The plant processes manure produced by Blonde d’Aquitaine cattle. The electricity produced is resold to EDF while the heat is used in a multi-feed drying unit.
