Located on a farm, this agricultural project was developed by the GAEC and the Ferme du Moulin to diversify their income streams. The plant processes 10,900 tonnes of agricultural waste, which is mixed using a FLEXIMIX system before being added to the digester. The biogas is recycled via cogeneration to produce 250 kW of electricity. The heat produced is used to warm water used in the farm’s dairy and cheese factory as well as for a multi-feed drying unit.
