Thèbes Energie is the continuation of GAEC de Thèbes, a farming business run by the Bonal family consisting of a father and his two sons. The plant will recycle 15,000 tonnes of manure produced by GAEC as well as intermediate energy crops. There is also a community aspect to this project thanks to the creation of a CUMA (a farm machinery user cooperative) that brings together GAEC de Thèbes and other farms in the sector.
